Turtle's Tsunami Turmoil, or "Slidey Turtle" for short, was made extremely quickly for an introductory, submission-mandated game jam, over the course of a few days. In said game jam, it scored second place for both originality and entertainment. My partner designed the art assets, I did everything else - including implementation, design, and most prominently - coding.

In this score-chasing game,  you play as a turtle who must escape from an encroaching tsunami. Tuck into your shell to fall faster, outrunning the tsunami for as long as you can - but be warned, staying in your shell to go up the sandy dunes will slow you down! See how high a score you can get before the tsunami gets you - the developers managed to get 5149. Can you do better?
